New Swimmers wishing to join the academy will be invited to a free assessment taking place at one of the pool venues by
mutual consent. From here the swimmer will be placed in an appropriate stage (or Squad if appropriate) for their ability
for the remainder of the assessment session. From here a place will be held for 1 week pending confirmation paperwork and
fees.

All swimmers are encouraged to wear swim hats and goggles (hats are compulsory at a number of our pool location) and can be purchased from Ceri Rance on joining the academy.
Floats and pull buoys are recommended from stage 4 upwards and in addition fins are recommended for stage 6 upwards. We can not provide equipment for all swimmers in all our pool locations, however for level 3 and below we have swim aids which include woggles and shark fins.
