We run three Ribbon Galas throughout the year for the children in the stroke development
classes. These galas are to give our youngsters experience of competing under ASA Law and Technical Rules. They
cover the main four strokes over 25m followed by a 4 x 25m individual medley for those brave enough. Swimmers who
are aged 10 or over or are bridging to the squads are able to swim the four main strokes over 50m. Ribbons are
awarded to the top six swimmers in each stroke and age group with medals for the best swimmers overall in each age
group.
