For Eilidh and George this was their first senior Championships, Eilidh competed in the 100m & 200m Butterfly events and George in the 50m, 100m and 200m Freestyle events. Both swimmers performed very well with Eilidh gaining a season best time of 2.27.57 and a National Qualifying time in the 200m Butterfly. George Wilson gained two personal best times in the 50m in a time of 25.16 & 100m Freestyle in a time of 53.86.
Steven King performed well in the 100m Butterfly with a seasons best of 56.55.
Kathryn Willis gained a personal best time in the 50m Backstroke of 30.39 to qualify her for the Semi finals and
later on in the week Kathryn also qualified for the 200M Backstroke semi final. Kathryn finished overall in 14th position
in both of her events.
Bracknell & Wokingham member Andrew Willis competed in the 100m & 200m Breaststroke.
Andrew achieved a personal time in the 100m Breaststroke final in a time of 1.01.79, narrowly missing out in the medals.
Later on the in week Andrew competed in his stronger event the 200m Breaststroke where he achieved a lifetime best of 2.11.13
to gain a silver medal and a place in the Great Britain team for the World Long course championships in Shanghai, China in July.
