Last Saturday saw the busiest ever Bracknell Masters Open Meet, with ages ranging from 18 to 95.

The highlights of the day came from 95 year old, John Harrison who set a new British Record in the 50 Freestyle, and 65 year old Derek Parr, who set a new European record in 200 Fly in 2.41.64, a time many younger swimmers would be pleased with.

Congratulations to the Top Lady, Amanda Heath and the Top Man, Bill Letch, and to the Top Visiting Club, Teddington.

Bracknell Masters all swam well, amassing a total of 16 Gold, 19 Silver and 13 Bronze medals, including some very exciting relays. The 160 years Ladies relay teams of Karen, Lynda, Claire and Sheelah/Laura did especially well, winning gold and silver. Well done also to our Top Bracknell Man, Mike Daniell and Top Bracknell Lady, Karen Leftley.

The Meet was another triumph for Rob Moore and we would like to thank all the helpers and especially the visiting Officials, organised by Rosemary.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year
