Success in Portsmouth
A number of Bracknell & Wokingham swimmers travelled to Portsmouth to compete in this year’s South East Region Winter Championships over the weekend.A tough 2 days for the swimmers with heats and finals for the 100m & 200m events in the same session and in some cases very little time to recover.

Over the weekend our swimmers achieved a number of successes which included 27 finalists and 19 individual medals. 8 Gold, 8 silver and 3 Bronze.
The Boys Youth Relay A Team won Gold in the 4 x 100m Freestyle and Silver in the 4 x 100m Medley Relay.
The Boys Youth Relay B Team came 7th in the 4 x 100m Freestyle and Medley relays.
The Girls Youth Relay A Team won Silver in the 4 x 100m Medley Relay and 7th in the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay.
The Girls Youth Relay Team came 8th in the 4 x 100m Medley Relay and 11th in the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay.

A very good weekend of swimming by our swimmers, well done to all.
