Hosting round 1 of the Rother League at Bracknell Leisure Centre the club competed against teams from Haslemere, Dorking, Elmbridge, Alton and Sutton & Cheam. This was an opportunity for both experienced members of the club and also presented an opportunity for some of the younger generation swimmers to compete in an age group event.

And what an exciting event they witnessed. Trailing by 13 points after 10 events, and 10 points after 20, the club eventually drew level after 30 events. By the end of the 51st and final event Bracknell had pulled away from the rest to win by 15 points. The club won 16 events and came 2nd in 9 and now look forward to round 2 where they travel to Woking's Pool in the Park to compete against Haslemere, Sutton & Cheam, Staines. Worthing and Woking on Saturday 6 June.
