Continued success at South East Region Championships
BWSC concluded the South East Region championships in Portsmouth at the weekend in style, with the Boys Youth Relay Teams winning Gold in the 4 X 200M Freestyle Relay and 2 Silvers in the 4 X 100M Freestyle and Medley Relays. We now wait to see if they have qualified for the National Championships in August.

Over the weekend our Youth swimmers achieved a number of successes which included 21 finalists and 10 medals. Steve King won 3 Gold and 1 silver, Kathryn Willis won 2 Gold medals, George Wilson won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal, Marley Farrell won 1 Bronze medal and Jonathan Woodfield 1 Bronze medal.Alannah Fillingham achieved her first ever National Qualifying time in the 200M Butterfly. There were also a number of good swims by the swimmers achieving Personal Best times.
